As I am writing this, I joined Melinda's Penpals 4 days ago. I filled out my profile, added a photo as required and I have gotten a few responses. It is easy and free to join and register. You can search and try to find someone you would be interested in.
My biggest gripe is Customer Support. Before I start on that, please READ the FAQ before even thinking of joining cause this is where it gets screwed up in my opinion. It says to post a photo (face shot) cause if you do not then you are not serious and your profile may be deleted. I saw a few women and a lot of men WITHOUT a photo yet their profile is there.
The first question in the FAQ section is "How much is the membership fee?". Answer: "It is now all free to use all features", once your registration has been approved. Near the top of the Home page you will see something called "Purchase Credits". You can buy Credits for Messages and Chat. I thought ALL features were free??
I contacted Customer Support twice and asked about this and it says you should receive a reply within hours. Well, it has been 96 hours since I contacted Customer Support and I am still waiting for an answer. Melinda's Penpals is a good site to search for people that you would like to get to know but for me, Customer Support SUCKS. I will leave this site within the next 2 days if I do not get a reply to my question.
I still do recommend this site but if you want to contact Customer Support, GOOD LUCK.
In summary, I would recommend Melindas Penpals to a friend.
